"Early Bird" is the earliest known character model drawing of the Road Runner by Chuck Jones as he was developing the characters and concepts for the iconic duo of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.
Drawn circa 1945, a full four years before the character premiered in "Fast & Furry-ous" the drawing shows a slightly different imagining of the Road Runner from the one known and loved around the world.
Each acquisition will be accompanied by a personal letter from Linda Jones Clough.
